1. Flipboard, now available on the iPhone

Flipboard is one of the most popular digital magazine apps. We’ve learned this week that its iOS tablet version has been downloaded 4.5 million times – meaning it is now installed on a whopping one in ten iPads. Yet, Flipboard wasn’t available on Apple’s smartphones until a few days ago.
